September 3, 2019 - Committee of the Whole to discuss Haymarket's Appeal of the Zoning Administrator's Decisions. The Village Board met in Committee of the Whole where the members unanimously recommended upholding the Plan Commission's denial of Haymarket's Zoning Appeal.  The appeal was forwarded the the September 17, 2019 Village Board meeting for final action.

August 21, 2019 - Plan Commission Unanimously Recommends Denial of Haymarket's Zoning Appeal Meeting Minutes to follow, once reviewed and approved at a subsequent Plan Commission Meeting.  A transcript of the meeting was provided to the the Village Board for its September 3, 2019 Committee of the Whole discussion and is available online here.

August 15, 2019 – Haymarket Responds to Mayor Pruyn’s Letter sent August 12, 2019 Full text of the letter. Mayor Pruyn, along with the Village Administrator, plan to meet Dr. Lustig at Haymarket Chicago in the near future in hopes of gaining a better understanding of Haymarket’s operations and the potential impacts of the Haymarket Itasca proposal on the residents, businesses and governments in the Village of Itasca. 

August 13, 2019 - Haymarket submits appeal of Zoning Administrator Decisions Documents related to Haymarket Center's Appeal of Zoning Administrator Decisions

Above you will find a link to the documents related to Haymarket Center's Appeal of the Zoning Administrator's Decisions.  In accordance with Itasca's Zoning Code, this appeal was scheduled to be heard by the Plan Commission at its next regularly scheduled meeting on Wednesday, August 21, 2019 at 7 p.m. at Village Hall. All Plan Commission meetings are open to the public, however, the appeal process does not include a public hearing. Residents interested in providing testimony related to Haymarket's application may do so at the Plan Commission Public Hearing scheduled for Wednesday, September 18, 2019 at 7 p.m. at F E Peacock Junior High School, 301 E North Street.

Haymarket submits certain applications and materials. The petition for a planned development for special use was incomplete, therefore it could not be scheduled for a public hearing before the Plan Commission. The Village rejected Haymarket's petition for a healthcare special use because the Zoning Administrator deemed it the wrong application for the proposed use.
