Today, the lawsuit filed by Haymarket DuPage LLC in December was dismissed by a DuPage County Court. While the additional legal costs were unfortunate for Itasca taxpayers, the courts dismissal of Haymarket’s challenge allows the Village to resume the Plan Commission process. Itasca still does not have all of the facts and information that the Village needs and everyone looks forward to the resumption of the hearings at an appropriate time.
