At a recent court appearance, the Village’s Counsel requested that the Court stay (postpone) the pending public hearings before the Plan Commission while the litigation remains unresolved.  Attorneys for Haymarket agreed to the stay through the next status hearing on February 5, 2020.

As a result, no evidence or testimony may be taken at the Public Hearing originally scheduled for January 22, 2020. To comply with legal notice requirements, the Plan Commission will briefly meet on January 22, at 7 p.m. at Village Hall, 550 Irving Park Road for the sole purpose of continuing the public hearing to a future date.

Future Plan Commission Hearings regarding Haymarket’s Zoning Petition will be posted and publicized online in accordance with the Illinois Open Meetings Act.
