"It is important to keep you updated pertaining to the information we’ve received regarding Haymarket Center. My number one goal in this process is to provide as much information to our residents as possible. Honestly, this process has been very frustrating for me because of the lack of information we have.

In July, Haymarket Center submitted an application to the Village of Itasca, but it did not give us the wholistic narrative of how Haymarket operates and its total potential effect on Itasca. For that reason, on July 22nd, I sent a letter to Haymarket Center’s law firm presenting a list of more than 30 questions that have been gathered from the community. The Village staff and I are trying everything we can to gain more information about the proposed Haymarket Center.

On August 2, 2019, we received, from Haymarket’s legal team, supplemental information that was required for the application process. Haymarket also sent us the Haymarket DuPage information sheet, but it leaves the majority of our Village’s questions unanswered.
