The next Haymarket Hearing is scheduled for August 11, 2021. As noted at the August 4th meeting, this hearing will be conducted at Village Hall, located at 550 W. Irving Park Road. The hearing will also continue to be live-streamed through the Village’s YouTube channel.
At the upcoming hearing, the following witnesses will be available for questioning:
- Director Robert O'Connor, Itasca Police Department
- Interested Parties - If you have a question for the other interested parties (865 W. Irving Park Road LLC and 960 Maplewood LLC), please click here and submit your question in writing before August 9, 2021. Written questions will be submitted to their attorney, Steve Ellenbecker, who will secure answers for the August 11, 2021 meeting.
Once questioning finishes, the Plan Commission will move into the next step of the hearing, Public Comment. During this time, members of the public may express an opinion or make general statements to the Plan Commission regarding witness statements, documents, or the matter in general. Anyone making public comment must do so under oath and may be subject to cross-examination by the petitioner or interested parties.
Those wishing to provide public comment at the hearing, are highly encouraged to sign-up in advance in order to reserve their seating. Anyone unable to attend the hearing in person, may also use the sign-up form to submit written comments. If you are unable to pre-register, you will still have an opportunity to sign-up onsite at Village Hall.
