Message from Mayor Jeff Pruyn Regarding Restaurant Closures

Today, I met with Itasca restaurant owners and operators. Unfortunately, it is likely that some of our long-standing restaurants may never reopen, if the state persists in requiring them shut their doors again.

Our restaurants, most of whom are small businesses, locally owned and operated, have spent thousands of dollars this summer to meet state COVID protocols to keep their employees and patrons safe and healthy. Now they are being told that it is not enough. ...
