    You will learn the fundamentals of playing the piano and reading sheet music. Each lesson will be tailed to your ability level. Keyboard will be provided.

    We have the perfect messy class for your kids! Activities and tactile experiences will improve fine motor skills and prepare your toddler for writing. Join us for painting, gluing, stamping, smooshing, and lots of fun! Please dress for mess! A parent must accompany their child.

    This is NOT a book discussion! It is a discussion about books. If you love to read but don’t want to join a book discussion, check out this group. We will share the books we are reading, and get ideas on what to read next. For those with young children, the Youth Department has its Magic School Bus program for kids in grades K-2 at the same time; drop off the kids at that program, and then come to Title Talk. A separate registration is required for each month.

    Learn the ten warning signs of Alzheimer’s disease, separate myth from reality, and view video footage of people who have the disease to find out how to recognize the signs in yourself and others.

    Support the library and join us for the Friends of the Itasca Community Library’s quarterly Buona Benefit Day. Buona Restaurant at 1170 N. Arlington Heights Rd. will donate a portion of their profit from all food purchases when you present the flier that will be available on our website or at the library.

    Enjoy all that Springbrook has to offer! Music, nature walks, crafts, games, raffles, wine/beer tasting, s'mores and more! Concessions available for additional purchase. Preregistration ends September 19th. Day of event fee: $18 per adult/$12 per child. Funds being raised will help with Springbrook Nature Center renovation beginning soon.
