    As we do more online, protecting our “digital assets” – those that exist in the online world – becomes more important for estate planning. Join attorneys John Pankau and Lisa Knauf as they discuss what digital assets are and how best to protect them as part of an overall comprehensive estate plan.

  3. Money Smart fo Kids: Saving (Grades 1-5)

    April 23, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Itasca Community Library

    Paula Sheffield, Vice President of Elk Grove Village Bank and Trust, will present this program for children in grades 1-5. By the end of the program, children will learn why saving is important, different ways to save towards a goal, and how to make it fun. Registration is required.

    April 23, 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM @ Itasca Community Library

    A College of DuPage admissions representative will discuss college funding through the Workforce Investment Act (WIA), financial aid, and scholarships for adults. He will also talk about programs and services.

  5. Keep Watching the Skies: Sci-fi and the Cold War

    April 27, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ Itasca Community Library

    Historian Michael Stachnik will discuss how mid-twentieth century science fiction depicted in books, films, and on television reflected the fears Americans had of nuclear holocaust, alien invasion, and “mad scientists.”

  6. Lights Out, Everybody: Mystery & Horror Durign the Golden Age of Radio

    April 29, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ Itasca Community Library

    Steve Darnall, host of Those Were the Days and Radio’s Golden Age, will share clips from some of the best-known radio programs from yesteryear, including Escape, Inner Sanctum, and Lights Out. Come see why radio truly is the theater of the mind.
