  1. Drop-In Crafts (All Ages)

    July 29, 9:00 AM - 8:00 PM @ Itasca Community Library

    Celebrate the dog days of summer by making a fun craft! A different craft will be available at each session, and registration is not required.

  2. English Conversation Group

    July 30, 1:30 PM - 3:00 PM @ Itasca Community Library

    Stop by and join other adult learners to practice speaking English in a relaxed setting. A trained literacy tutor will guide you. All adults are welcome, no matter what your first language is. You don’t have to register for this free program.

  3. Animal Stars in the Movies

    July 30, 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM @ Itasca Community Library

    Join Steven Frenzel for a fast-paced program of the best animal movie clips. From Born Free to Black Beauty, Benji to Babe, these animal clips will entertain the entire family.

  4. Wonder Pets Party (geared to ages 3-6 years)

    July 31, 10:00 AM - 10:45 AM @ Itasca Community Library

    Join us as we party with the Wonder Pets - Linny the guinea pig, Ming-Ming the duckling, and Tuck the turtle. We’ll share Wonder Pets-related stories, crafts, and more. Geared to ages 3-6, but younger children are welcome with a parent. Registration is required.

Park District

  1. Junior Golf Class

    July 22, 8:00 AM - July 31, 8:45 AM @ Eaglewood Resort & Golf Club

    Instruction by a PGA golf professional! Fundamentals will be covered along with rules and etiquette. Students my have clubs or borrow some from the Itasca Park District. Wear proper golf attire and golf shoes with soft spikes or tennis shoes.

  2. Archery Camp Jul 28-Aug 1 4-6pm

    July 28, 4:00 PM - August 1, 6:00 PM @ Hamilton Fields

    This camp will help you discover the sport of archery and increase concentration and discipline. Ages 8+

  3. Fishing Trip with Mr. Whitney at the Nature Center!

    July 29, 2:30 PM - 4:30 PM @ Springbrook Nature Center

    Enjoy an old fashioned adventure! Hike through the woods to find the perfect branch for your fishing pole, search for worms and head to the creek to catch some fish! Bring a sack lunch, water bottle and wear sunscreen.

  4. Talking Telegraph at the Depot Museum Tue Jul 29 4pm

    July 29, 4:00 PM - 5:00 PM @ Itasca Historical Depot Museum

    Learn about the diverse ways people have learned to communicate over time and see a real telegraph in action! For ages 5-12
