Business License Renewal

Every business in Itasca is required to renew their business registration annually. Business licenses are valid from January 1st through December 31st. As a reminder, certain State licensed professional offices such as architects and engineers, attorneys at law, insurance brokers, real estate brokers, physicians, and dentists may be exempt from paying the license fee. These businesses still need to renew their registration.
RENEWAL PROCESS
Please return the completed Business License Renewal Form, 24-Hour Emergency Key holder Form, all other applicable forms, and payment by Monday, December 1, 2025:

- Burglar Alarm Permit (if applicable) (PDF)
- Tobacco Seller's License Application (if applicable) (PDF)

PAYMENT AND FORM SUBMITTAL
Please return the completed forms and payment by Monday, December 1, 2025, using one of the following methods:
- By Mail: Send the forms and payment to the following address: Village Hall 550 W. Irving Park Road Itasca, IL 60143
- Village Hall Outdoor Drop Box: You can drop off your completed forms and payment in the Village Hall outdoor drop box, located in the Village Hall parking lot near the island.
- In Person: Submit completed forms and payment at the above address. Payment can be made by cash, check, or credit card (in person ONLY). Please note, the Village only except Visa, Discover, and Mastercard.
- Online: Submit completed forms and payments through the Village's Online Payment Website. Forinstructions on how to complete the process, please view the process instructions (PDF).
When making payment, make checks payable to the "Village of Itasca."
FEES
The annual license fee is determined upon the gross square footage area of business.

| 5,000 square feet or less | $75 |
| 5,001 - 10,000 square feet | $90 |
| 10,001 - 50,000 square feet | $200 |
| 50,001 - 100,000 square feet | $400 |
| 100,001 - 200,000 square feet | $500 |
| 200,001 - 300,000 square feet | $800 |
| 300,001 - 400,000 square feet | $1,200 |
| 400,001 square feet or more | $1,600 |
| Professional Business Registration | No Fee |
ADDITIONAL LICENSES
Additionally, the following licenses must also be renewed. Please add these fees to the business license fee at the time of payment.
