Pet Owners

All dogs must be leashed whenever off the owner's property. Dogs roaming at large will be picked up by the Village of Itasca Animal Control Officer and taken to DuPage County Animal Control in Wheaton. Once the owners are identified, they will be issued a $15 citation.

Parking

Overnight parking is prohibited on all village streets and municipal parking lots between the hours of 2:00 am and 6:00 am. 

Parking on sidewalks, or otherwise obstruction the sidewalk is prohibited.

Street prohibited after 2 or more inches of snowfall until the snow has been removed by Village workers. The parking ban is in effect regardless of time of day.

Waivers

Certain short-term exemptions due to driveway construction, vehicle malfunctions, etc. may be granted through the Itasca Police Department by calling (630) 773-1004 prior to 2:00 am. An overnight parking waiver shall not be granted as a regular alternative to insufficient off-street parking. 

Branch and Refuse Cleanup

Yard waste and brand pickup will be every Monday. Please follow the below guidelines for branch pickup.

Branch pickup guidelines: Maximum size should not exceed 2 inches in diameter and 4 feet in length. Material must be stacked neatly in manageable piles on the parkway no earlier than 4:00 pm on the Sunday preceding pickup. 

Refuse pickup guidelines: Refuse may not be placed out at the curb before 4:00 pm on the Sunday prior to trash pickup. All empty refuse containers must be removed from the curb by 10:00 pm on the day of pickup.
