Beginning Spring 2023, the Village will be replacing all of its residential and business water meters, as well as modernizing its infrastructure to an Automated Meter Infrastructure (AMI).
The project will consist of installation of new storm sewer, replacement of a water main, reconstruction of roadways to include curb and gutter along streets that do not currently have curb and gutter and resurfacing of streets in the project area that already have curb and gutter.
The project will consist of reconstruction and resurfacing of Bloomingdale Road from Irving Park Road to Rohlwing Road (IL-53) . Reconstruction of Bloomingdale Road to an urban cross section will be from approximately Walnut Street to the Village limits west of Lombard Road which will consist of pavement widening, installation of curb and gutter, storm sewer improvements, culvert improvements and stamped asphalt cross walks. The remaining portions of Bloomingdale Road will be resurfaced. There will be a portion of Bloomingdale Road (maintained by Addison Township) that will remain a rural cross section with roadside ditches near the bridge over I-290.
